Lucia Massari, an Italian product designer born in Venice, earned her Master’sdegree in Product Design from the Royal College of Art in London in 2009, where she studied under Martino Gamper and Jurgen Bey. In 2010 she founded her eponymous studio, initially dividing her time between London and Venice before relocating it permanently to her hometown in 2013. Her multidisciplinary practice, spanning product design, installation, and performance, often involves collaborations with local artisans and investigates the physical presence of objects in relation to our daily activities. Driven by a strong passion for color and traditional craft techniques, Massari creates artworks that hover between two and three dimensions, showcasing both her artisanal expertise and her experimental approach.
