In the mid-1980s, this former student of the Beaux-Arts in Marseille launched a children’s clothing line under the name Honoré.
Gradually growing weary of the fashion world and deeply inspired by her stays in Morocco—where she met artisans with exceptional skills—she took a decisive turn: in 2005, Honoré was reinvented as a design and home décor brand.
For the past three years, Annick has been exploring a new creative field: ceramics. Through this living and tactile medium of clay, she allows her imagination to flow freely and reveals a more intimate side of her artistic talent. The “Tableaux de terre” that Annick Lestrohan creates are entirely new forms, born from an imagination nourished by a childlike sense of archaeology with the nostalgia of a life shaped by summer retreats, long evenings, and the dolce vita of the Amalfi Coast and the Riviera.
Annick Lestrohan lives and works in Marseille, France.
