The green, unripe bud-shaped light sconce made of Murano glass echoes the unrealized potential in William
Blake’s “The Blossom.” Just as the flower grows with care but hasn’t fully bloomed, the sconce, still in its bud
form, represents something in the early stages of development. The soft light it gives off reflects the promise of
growth, symbolizing potential that has yet to fully unfold, much like a flower waiting to bloom. The craftsmanship
of the Murano glass further emphasizes this idea of careful, unfolding development.
