PAR SA SEULE PRÉSENCE, 2024 stages the textile not as object, but as presence. In Franck’s hands, the fabric breathes — gathered, stretched, dyed, unstitched. A suspended illusion between dress and drape, garment and veil. Dyed in a deep burgundy red, the work carries a tone long associated with power, devotion, and interior depth. It gestures toward histories both sacred and imperial — a color worn in courts and cloisters, layered with symbolic weight. As the eye slips along folds and shadows, emotion becomes spatial, tactile. The textile does not merely adorn — it emotes.
