PLATFORM EARTH - The Skywalk Exhibition

SKYWALK, a project by Platform Earth curated by Nadja Romain in collaboration with Università di Padova, Università IUAV di Venezia, and Università Ca'’ Foscari.

Skywalk is a visionary environmental architecture project conceived in Venice by Italian-English artist Petroc Sesti, founder of Platform Earth.

In 2024, following Platform Earth’s Carbon II exhibition during the Venice Art Biennale
- Skywalk was born: a proposal for an elevated walkway over the Venetian Lagoon.

It aims to allow both residents and visitors to experience this rare and fragile wetland ecosystem firsthand, while protecting and celebrating its extraordinary biodiversity.

Skywalk is presented by Platform Earth, with thanks to Ocean Space, Sumus and Venice Art Factory. And the scientific input by Professor Laura Onofri.
