Presented by Lo Studio – Nadja Romain and Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Dallo Sguardo al Segno marks Armand Louis’s first solo exhibition in Venice. Reflecting more than thirty-five years of exploration into material, structure and natural phenomena, the exhibition follows the passage from close observation to sculptural form. Through glass, fire and experimentation, Armand Louis transforms the logic of organic structures and physical forces into works that reveal the tension between artistic intention, technical knowledge and the unpredictable behaviour of matter. The exhibition forms part of the Homo Faber in Città and The Venice Glass Week programmes and is held under the patronage of the Consulate of Switzerland in Venice.
